I hook
Red Heart Super Saver
A multiple of 12 sts +1 (add 2 for foundation ch)

Row 1: 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 5 ch, (1 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch) 3 times, *1 dc in each of next 6 ch, (1 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch) 3 times, repeat from * to end, turn

Row 2: 4 ch, skip (first dc, 1 ch), 1 dc in next dc, (1 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc) twice, 1 dc in each of next 6 dc, *(1 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 6 dc, repeat from * ending 1 dc in 3rd of 3 ch, turn.

Row 3: 3 ch, skip first dc, * (1 dc in each of next 6 dc, (1 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc) 3 times, repeat from *, working last dc in 3rd of 4 ch, turn.

Row 4: 3 ch, skip first dc, *(1 dc in 1 ch sp, 1 dc in dc) 3 times, (1 ch, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc) 3 times, repeat from *, working last dc in 3rd of 3 ch, turn

Row 5: do row 2

Row 6: do row 3

Row 7: do row 4

Row 1: (1 dc, 1ch) 3 times all in 6th ch from hook, 1dc in same ch, *skip 3 ch, (1 dc, 1 ch) 3 times in net ch, 1dc in same ch, repeat from * to last 3 ch, skip 2 ch, 1 dc in last ch, turn.

Row 2, 3 ch, skip (first 2dc, 1 ch, 1dc), *(1dc, 1ch) 3 times in next ch sp, 1 dc in same ch sp, skip (1 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc), repeat from *, ending in center of last group, skip (1dc, 1 ch, 1 dc), 1 dc in 5th of 5 ch, turn.

Repeat row 2, ending 1 dc in 3rd of 3 ch, turn. Till the afghan gets to your desired length.

-Beg at top of hat, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring.

Rnd 1(RS): ch 2, work 13 dc in ring, join with sl st in first dc. 13 st
Rnd 2: Ch 2, turn, 2 dc in ea st around, join with sl st in first dc. 26 st.
Rnd 3: Ch 2, turn, dc in first st, *2dc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around ending with 2dc in last st, join with sl st in first dc. 39 st.
Rnd 4: Ch 2, turn, *dc in first two sts, 2 dc in next sts, repeat from * around, join with sl st in first dc. 52 st.
Rnd 5-16: Ch 2, turn, dc in ea st around, join with sl st in first dc. 52 st.

Do Not turn at last row.

Edging: (Ch 1, sc) in ea st around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

Turn up bottom of hat for brim.

Baby Sweat Suit

Sweater

Ch 63

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook. dc in next 6 dc, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, dc in next 12 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, dc in next 14 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, dc in next 12 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, dc in next 11 ch, ch 2, turn

Row 2-7: *Dc in ea st to ch 1 sp, (dc, ch 1, dc) in ch 1 sp, repeat from * 3 times. Dc in remaining sts, ch 2, turn

Note: If you need to add or subtract a row do it now

Form sleeves

Row 8: dc in ea st to ch 1 sp, dc in ch 1 sp, skip sts to next ch 1 sp, dc in ea st to next ch 1 sp, dc in ch 1 sp, skip st to next ch 1 sp, dc in ch 1 sp, dc in remaining sts to end, ch 2, turn

Row 9: Dc in ea st across (I added 4 dc under each of the arms to make the tummy area a bit bigger)

Continue as in Row 9 until the sweater measures 6-7 inches from under the armpit to bottom. Fasten off.

Sleeves

Rnd 1: Attach yarn in ch 1 sp, ch 2, dc around, sl st in top of ch 2, ch 2, turn (remember how many st you picked up so your sleeves will br even.)

Rnd 2: continue in Dc till the sleeve measures 5 inchs

Cuff

Rnd 1: Sc around, sl st to join, ch 1, turn

Rnd 2: Sc around dec by 4 sc evenly, sl to join, fasten off.

Trim

Sc around the whole sweater.


Sew 3/4 in buttons evenly on the shorter side of sweater lining them up so the dc on the longer side act as button holes.


Pants

Ch 80

sl st to join ch 2, turn

Rnd 1-10: Dc in ea st around, sl st to join in top of ch 2, ch 2, turn

Rnd 11: Dc in ea st around dec by 4 evenly, sl st in top of ch 2, ch 2, turn

Rnd 12: Dc in ea st around, sl st in top of ch 2, ch 2 turn
Rnd 13: Dc in ea st around dec by 4 evenly, sl st in top of ch 2, ch 2, turn

Rnd 14: Dc in ea st around, sl st in top of ch 2, ch 2, turn

Cuff

Rnd 1: Sc in ea st, sl st to join, ch 1, turn

Rnd 2: Sc in 1st and 2nd sc, sk 1 sc, sc in 3 sc, sk 1 sc, continue in that pattern around, sl st to join, ch 1, turn.

Rnd 3: Sc in ea sc in BLO, sl st to join, ch 1, turn

Rnd 4: Sc in ea sc in BLO, sl st to join, ch 1, turn finish off.

Weave in all ends.
